My faith is not blind faith

The Christian religion takes faith, just not blind faith. For Doubting Thomas, it took seeing Jesus to believe. So, it is for me just in a different way. For Thomas it took seeing the holes where the nails were and to touch them. Where for me it takes seeing God's creation, his evidence of the gospel and Jesus. We can also say as Thomas said, “My Lord my God” (John 20:28). First, look at the stars, galaxies, the sun and moon, grass, flowers etc. Most agree everything comes from something besides the higher power that was always there. If you look at a building, do you not know that someone built it. Do you not see a book and know someone wrote it. So, everything on earth comes from something. That higher power Is Jesus. To give you some reasons to believe it's Jesus. The Bible says that Jesus is that higher power now we just need reasons to believe that's true. A few reasons are the Gospels are eyewitness accounts by people that died for their faith. That the bible is honest. For example, the person that found the tomb was Mary Magdalene, a woman. They were very looked down upon in that time of age. Women were considered untrustworthy sources, yet the bible says she found the body gone from the tomb one of the biggest things in the New Testament. It was more worried about the truth than trying to persuade people to believe. Lastly There are 10,000 Latin manuscripts, 5,000 Greek manuscripts more than any manuscript in history ever by a long shot. We can’t see Jesus and believe to the degree that Thomas did but we can see Jesus in a way non the less.
